Community Partners for the City.
Our city thrives when our partners thrive.
Loving our neighbors near and far is part of the fabric of our church, making it not only our calling but our joy.
Project Mockingbird is investing in trusted local partners who are on the frontlines of addressing critical needs in Dallas. By supporting these organizations, we can extend hope and healing to those who need it most.
KEY INITIATIVESHelp for local churches
Over the decades, HPUMC has started 41 churches and supported countless others in Dallas. Project Mockingbird will provide key funding for St. Luke Community UMC and St. Philip's School & Community Center to support their growth for the future.
KEY INITIATIVESHelp for the homeless
We believe in the importance of mental health and are excited about the opportunity to give people access to the support they need. In partnership with Austin Street Center, we will be investing in the expansion of an on-site mental health clinic to provide healing, hope, and relief.
Help for veterans and non-military trainees
KEY INITIATIVESProviding training and career opportunities to underserved populations fosters empowerment, independence, and stability. We are partnering with ForgeNow to provide vocational training scholarships to veterans and non-military trainees, offering them the skills they need to succeed in trades such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work.
